Thanks. I did install the .debs and now the fix is working for me. I will note that after installing the .debs and rebooting my machine, the GUI would not come up. This was resolved by reinstalling the desktop from the CLI. In any event, the fix is working and I appreciate the help. If you need any information from me, please let me know.
