thanks! already fixed the problem though... I made sure that MySQL, etc, were installed and set up BEFORE I went to install TorrentFlux... (currently running Ubuntu 7.10 installed from netboot CD 9.1 MB including LAMP server on install) if you need the link, let me know, and I will find it again... install and setup from this allows much greater flexibility... I set up LAMP, Gnome (Ubuntu) KDE (Kubuntu) all on install...
