I also have the same problem. Using a HP Pavillion dv9297ea with Intel ICH7, 3945ABG and nVidia Go 7600 and nVidia proprietary graphics driver from the repos. All worked in Feisty, but upon resuming I got a warning message, but after upgrading to Gutsy, it never wakes up the display.
