I just tested the packages in proposed for Ubuntu Bionic and I still see 30
seconds wait times after boot.
I have a particular configuration, which was done automatically by Ubuntu when
I freshly installed the system a while back.
I have an NVMe drive with two partitions, one is an LVM partition for the root
(/), which includes /boot (except for /boot/efi). The second partition has
/boot/efi. I remember Ubuntu did this because grub or something else might have
trouble reading (or writing?) to an LVM partition and it needed this additional
partition and it had to be at the beginning (which it is).

So, I have an NVMe with LVM, which is still making me see these errors.
