I was able to get 4.15.0-43 installed (another way). That didn't help. It seems something else has happened that they haven't found. I have another computer "Samsung NP300E5C Notebook" that has the "43" and "45" kernels installed on it, on Jan 16 and Feb 2. No "44" on it, and it probably never did.
