I also want to confirm that the sound has come back when I upgraded the kernel to 4.19.18. I am using Mint 19.1 and by default it didn't work.
Warning! I first upgraded to 4.20.5 but it didn't work. I switched to the 4.19 and it magically started to work! And on a side note it works better than the stock windows version. The sound card was making weird static noises when used on Windows 10. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1784485 Title: [ZenBook S UX391UA, Realtek ALC294, Mic, Internal] No sound at all To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1784485/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
