UPDATE: After starting Windows and opening Diskmanagement, obviously the Ubuntu setup didn't change any of the partitions. I created a partition in Windows and booted into the Ubuntu setup again. As I'm writing this I got a prompt saying that the installation has finished so everything seems working now. I guess this bug occurred when the setup attempted to resize the partition. So for everyone having the same issues, try creating/resizing you partitions in Windows Diskmanagement or use any other disk partitioning tools so that you can provide a partition already created to the Ubuntu installation.
