Edited the below lines to /etc/default/sl-modem-daemon SLMODEMD_DEVICE=hw:0,6 SLMODEMD_COUNTRY=INDIA
Configured the modem using the gnome-ppp application; but when i attempt to detect the modem it shows that no modem was found. a screen shot is attached.
