I have ad this mouse working by configuring th xorg for some time. I was just
hoping we could have this mouse, along with many others, more correctly
configured. This would fill a very large and easy to fix gap in the linux
hardware world.
I have been thinking for some time how to properly make a program that would
let you select a mouse and it would give you a default configurationfor your
mouse with the option to set the buttons to what you like. I would also have a
database of user submitted pictures of the mice that would help people
recognize the mouse. And obviousely with a probe to see what mouse they have
and do most of the configuring itself.
And the issues with firefox are not the only place. Any built in browser type
of software, like miro or my pystart program react to this. These issues are
things that should be address on their programs.
