The problem with these acer laptops seems to be that the "flat" APIC
mode is used instead of "physical flat".With "physical flat" model acpi
works fine and acpi tables seem to load successfully, you can later
optionally remap the ivrs tables without hanging.Would it be possible to
have a switch like a kernel parameter that skips autodetection of APIC
model and let us choose the preffered one?
