I everyone, same problem here, using an encore 802.11 b wifi card (do not remember the exact model). Ubuntu 7.10 downloaded today (nov. 12, 2007) and Ubuntu AMD 64 7.10 . It used to work with Ubuntu 7.04 + ndiswrapper, but after installing Gutsy (which, by the way, recognized the wifi card) I freezes when loading wireless configuration (using NetworkManager, and also using ifup wlan0 ). regards, gonetil.
