i think we can confirm this bug, and probably it has to do something with the kernel. And as it seems not even with the tv card driver itself, but with v4l, since different card models (usb, non usb, and different chipssets), different players (kdetv, mplayer, xawtv..) are involved. Could somebody change the description to kernel bug? i hope somebody of the kernel team will read it! it's a serious issue.
