Hi, I have performed 11 suspend/resumes and no issue! Big thanks for looking into it and fixing it!
nosleep mode sounds like a mitigation so that the bug cannot occur but is not actually fixing it? Is the issue then in the firmware/bios and we have to contact lenovo or is it still there in the kernel? Moreover, nosleep mode of rmi sounds like this would come along with an increased power consumption during suspend? Is this neglectable? Could you maybe publish your patch already here, so that we can build patched kernels ourself until your patch lands? Your supplied kernel is based on 4.20.rc3 and is therefore not suited for every day use, or? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1791427 Title: Touchpad and/or trackpoint stop working after S3 suspend on Lenovo X1 Carbon 6th To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1791427/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
