This bug has also started to appear for me. I found a quick temporary fix: Click on the top bar of the window and nouse clicks starts to work again. A possible factor that may caused problem to start appearing might be that i changed the font size from 12 to 10. The gnome do have lots of bugs so this isn't big surprise. Bugs like right scrollbar partly covering rightmost text character, dropdown list showing only one item (there are many), goetemp extension showing weather warnings always in german and the annoying font size change and rewrap when mouse hovering over a text block.
