I just booted up the live-USB for another purpose (prepping a new SSD to be used in a new computer, once I have them put it together) and ran the installer (only as far as the problem window), and it still almost doesn't show the buttons. I will attach screenshots of the window and the monitor settings window. ----- [NB: I was booting "with persistence", which as we know (?) has bitten me before on bug reports.
