Hi Danish,

According to the logs, you have previously installed the community
edition of mysql and haven't fully removed it yet. As the community
edition package isn't maintained by Ubuntu, there's no automatic process
for upgrading to an Ubuntu-maintained package.

To get around this, you'll need to fully uninstall the previous mysql
components (you can recognize them because their version numbers all end
in "ubuntu14.04").

A quick way to get the list:

  apt search mysql |grep "ubuntu14\.04"

** Changed in: mysql-5.7 (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid
