I have experienced the same issue trying to connect to a printer shared by a system which resided on a Domain. The system requires authentication to connect to the printer, so it was not visible from the SMB Browser [the system and domain are visible, but there are no printers available on the system].
I was able to connect to the printer, though, by manually filling in the field above where you enter your credentials [<domain>/<server>/<printer_share_name>], then by entering my domain login information. You should get a confirmation message if you use the validate button to ensure that the printer is accessible. -- samba printers don't show in smb browser https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/154385 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
