@Rob and Nathan (and everyone of course)
Sorry not to be helpfull before but I'm having very heavy work here in Mexico.
Things are going really wild a lot of rain and my office in Tabasco has
completely dissapeard, so don't expect me to be helpfull in the meantime.
One thing I must add with Dany's patch.
One step forward and 2 steps back.
The patch works amazingly with sound, until today I had the chance to see that
my leads are off and the GPU fan is working when it reaches 105ºC.
What I did was to compile the vanilla kernel form kernel org under mandriva (in
my desktop) and suse (on my laptop). The ones I compiled under susedo not let
me use them, I don't know what went wrong) the mandriva one is ok but with the
above mentioned issues.
I know the fan issue could be solved by adding the DTSL.aml file to kernel but
in the momment I'll stop all my tests and will go back to work.
Feel free to PM me but do not expect me to answer back riight on, If things go
harder, robabily Ill take the whole year to try to get back some of my losts.
Said that, I will not work in ubuntu for at least this year, I'll not have time
to make tests thoroughly so I'l stick to mandriva onand suse on my main 2
machines, the rest of them will have feisty until the new LTS release (I hope
it's not "Nutsy Nuts")
Good Luck and Kind Regards
Luis
