Mahdi, where would that VBE_POST option be? Are you perhaps referring to POST_VIDEO=true in acpi-support?
Google on VBE_POST=false leads exclusively to this bug, with VBE_POST=true I find some hits on 'power_management.quirk', but they don't go into explanations there. Is that what you meant?
