1. There are no specific steps that I took. The last time the system froze I was just loading up a virtual machine in VirtualBox. A day before that I was doing a video chat over https://talky.io with Firefox 64.
I also remember the system freezing when I was working with gnome- terminal while I had Firefox and Thunderbird open in the background. 2. Everytime, I didn't expect the system to freeze. 3. The screen freezes, neither mouse nor keyboard input is detected in Wayland. I can't even switch to a TTY using CTRL-ALT-Fx. I'm not sure whether I could have rebooted the system with the MagicSysReq keys. It didn't seem to respond but maybe I just didn't find the right way to issue the commands on this keyboard layout. It is a new laptop with a fresh Ubuntu install so I can't say anything about prior systems. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1802283 Title: system freezes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1802283/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
