Sounds like equal blame on the application, window manager (mutter) and the user :)
* Application: Is 640x480 still so may be to blame for ignoring window resize requests. * Window manager: May be ignoring the "Fullscreen" state on the window(?). But not sure, since it works with the above workaround. * User: Added custom mode "960x540" which seems to be confusing the system. ** Summary changed: - Gnome 3 fullscreen doesn't work for some applications + Gnome 3 fullscreen doesn't work for some applications when a custom display mode (960x540) is active ** No longer affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1801602 Title: Gnome 3 fullscreen doesn't work for some applications when a custom display mode (960x540) is active To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/1801602/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
