@NJ That is my understanding - the driver itself works (both synaptics and libinput, we can use the devices after turning on the laptop), but the kernel is not handling the suspend and wakeup for these devices properly. That being said, I am far from being an expert, so I can be wrong. In which case I will remove that tag, please let me know.
