Hi! Had same issue. Fixed by removing from `/etc/default/grub` the `nomodeset` parameter from the `GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="nomodeset"`as to obtain: `GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""` then run `sudo update-grub` and reboot the laptop
