The debdiff is what some sponsors prefer to have. They download the current version in the archive, apply the diff as a patch, and then build & upload.
They can also just build it from the repo, and upload. But with the diff they can easily see what has changed. I hope it makes it on time! After one more week, the release candidate freeze starts & then the release team will need to approve.
