Public bug reported: Regresssion of bug #1762595.
I have installed Ubuntu 18.04.1 in the past week, and have encountered this problem repeatedly. I found it reported as fixed in gvfs 1.36.1-0ubuntu1.1, but it clearly isn't, because that's the version of gvfs that I currently have installed.
