Public bug reported: Binary package hint: vzctl
This upstream patch [1] helps with Upstart issue on virtual environment (VE) which is running on OpenVZ hardware node (HN). I've tested it successfully on my testing Gutsy box with rebuilt vzctl 3.0.16-4 package and Linux kernel 2.6.18+ovz028stab039. Please see more details at OpenVZ Bugzilla site [2].
