Experiencing similar issues/behavior in other gnome office apps: contacts and todo list.
Contacts has actually given a useful error when trying to edit a google contact, but the error message disappears very quickly and cannot be copied or pasted. Attached is a screenshot. This is all occurring on a fresh install. All I did was install the software, link my google accounts, and try to run the apps. For some reason, they are not self-configuring with the google accounts correctly. ?field.comment=Experiencing similar issues in other gnome office apps: contacts and todo list.
