I am so sorry, Gpk, about the lack of response to your report. The bug reports are handled by people from around the globe, the majority of whom are volunteers. Unfortunately, they missed this one and it fell down in the queue. I just started bug triaging a little over 2 months ago and I was quite surprised to find there were some old tickets still unaddressed.
