Public bug reported: The nautilus CD burner is very convenient to use for most of my burning needs. However occasionally a burn will go bad (usually due to bad media) and it would be really nice if there option to verify the disc after the burn is complete. Currently I have a small script that does an CRC-32 or an MD5 of every file on the disc which really just proves the disc is readable and does not verify that the data is the same as the source.
It would be very nice if there was an optional check box when you burn, to verify the written data against the source. ** Affects: nautilus-cd-burner (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nautilus CD burner needs a verify after write option https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159888 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
