Been running a few days on latest 4.18.0-041800rc8 and so far no crashes, so a tentative "fixed" might be appropriate now. Of course this message may be just the curse needed to replicate the issue! (I'll update if so) I'm still none the wiser as to what might have been fixed or what caused the issue in the first place....
