I am interested in the solution to this problem. I have a Thinkpad T43-2668 running gutsy gibbon
$ uname -a Linux t43 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 23:05:12 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux When I suspend, and when I do this: sync; echo 1 > /sys/power/pm_trace; /etc/acpi/sleep.sh force the "crescent moon" LED begins to flash immediately. Using feisty fawn (and other operating systems) when entering the suspend state, this is the LED that flashes for a few seconds, then remains lit while the machine is suspended. I have attached the the dmesg log from the DebuggingKernelSuspend procedure to this report, and will attach the remaining files you request in following messages. Thanks for your attention to this. ** Attachment added: "dmesg log following instructions in DebuggingKernelSupend" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10263240/dmesg-debugging-kernel-suspend.txt -- Suspend & Hibernate hang on Thinkpad T43 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155037 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
