I have a similar issue, not sure if I should start a new bug report though. I simply cannot connect to VPN at all when connecting through wireless. It only works when I am on wired mode (i.e using an ethernet cable). (I created a VPN connection in order to connect to Relakks.com)
Here is the relevant bit from my syslog: Oct 31 22:46:58 ubuntu NetworkManager: nm_vpn_service_process_signal(): VPN failed for service ‘org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.ppp_starter’, signal ‘ConnectFailed’, with message ‘VPN Connection failed’.
