I confirm the problem, but after a hibernation (suspend to hard-disk). The 
first connection is lost after a few seconds, while the second usually is 
stable.
Sometimes, when I try to reconnect after the first connection is lost, 
NetworkManager uses nearly 100% CPU and I have to kill it and to start it again 
before everything works.
It's not a signal problem since in Feisty everything was ok and because I'm 
just a few centimeters away from the access point.
I'm using Kubuntu with KNetworkmanager.
