i've seen it.. trying to enable dma gives me an error: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo hdparm -d 1 /dev/sda [sudo] password for bigdoby:
/dev/sda: setting using_dma to 1 (on) HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device i think this is the main problem, but googling around i don't find a way to fix the problem..
