I have the same problem (clean gutsy install), also about 25% CPU usage all the time. My CPU is a AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+, I have a Multimedia video controller: Conexant CX23880/1/2/3 PCI Video and Audio Decoder (rev 05) And my motherboard is a MSI nforce3 K8N Neo2
