Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ffmpeg
Support for Monkey's Audio decoding was added to ffmpeg SVN on Sep 13th 2007. There is currently no package in official or unofficial repositories which can play or convert Monkey's Audio files on Ubuntu. There was something called mac, but it has license issues and no linux distributor will touch it.
