Public bug reported:

The version of fence_vmware_soap included with fence-agents 4.0.22 has
an --ssl-insecure option intended to make it work with hosts using self-
signed SSL certificates, but it does not actually work. In the process
of trying to figure out why I couldn't use a VMware ESX host with a
self-signed SSL certificate, I found this fairly recent patch upstream
that fixes this:

https://github.com/ClusterLabs/fence-agents/pull/119/files

I confirmed that building and installing the 4.2.1 version of fence-
agents fixes the problem, and allows me to use VMware hosts with self-
signed SSL certificates.

It would be really nice for the version of fence-agents packaged by
Ubuntu to be updated. The latest version also includes a
fence_vmware_rest agent which seems to have better performance.
