Thanks for your efforts in trying to solve this bug :) Just updated to kubuntu gutsy tonight, and with a freshly (re)configured klibido found the problem to still exist in 0.2.5-3ubuntu5. The speeds measured by various monitoring applications are accurate. I'm attaching a ogg/theora video of a 716 MBytes download with an average speed of around 1875 kBytes/s, consistent with the per server speed limit of 8 mbit/s. The monitoring application visible in the video is knemo; largest error happens around 04:40 when klibido indicates a total speed of some 500 mbit/s.
