Until Network-Manager works as well for "On & Off" connections as Gnome-PPP, I will still use the latter. "NM 0.7 will be able to handle dial-up connections."
But will my wife be able to use it as well as she can use Gnome-PPP? The point of Ubuntu is "it just works"--well, Gnome-PPP just works--NM works, but not very well for Dial-up--If I had a Hi-Speed connection, I would use NM because that is where it shines. -- Gnome-PPP will not dock or minimize https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121487 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
