Hi Alan,
We are currently reviewing bug reports regarding older kernels. I don't
believe this report meets the criteria for a stable release update and
am marking this as "Won't Fix". However, this issue should be resolved
in the latest 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon release. I've verified that the kernel
configs enable this option. Thanks.
