Actually the instructions on installing upstream kernel didn't help me.
One of the FAQs (at the very bottom): was "Can I install and then
immediately use a kernel in a live environment?" and the response:
"Given the amount of effort involved in doing this, it is easiest to use
an installed OS to test the mainline kernel." I'd need to figure out how
to install the upstream onto the Live Environment USB to test if this
was fixed and the instructions do not cover that. The issue is
installing Lubuntu, not using it after it was installed. Anyone have
any advice on how to modify the instructions to install the upstream
kernel onto the USB media?
