That is very strange. From your log: Apr 27 18:15:30 ubuntu-mate kernel: [ 368.540825] SQUASHFS error: zlib decompression failed, data probably corrupt Apr 27 18:15:30 ubuntu-mate kernel: [ 368.540829] SQUASHFS error: squashfs_read_data failed to read block 0xf166f3a Apr 27 18:15:30 ubuntu-mate kernel: [ 368.541798] SQUASHFS error: zlib decompression failed, data probably corrupt Apr 27 18:15:30 ubuntu-mate kernel: [ 368.541799] SQUASHFS error: squashfs_read_data failed to read block 0xf166f3a
This means the squashfs image is corrupt. If it is not corrupt on disk ( run the check disc to see ), then it must have become corrupt in memory. Try running the memtest option from the boot menu for at least 15 minutes and see if that is ok. The only other way I can think of for this to happen in relation to the network updates is if the network adapter somehow is corrupting memory. ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1767465 Title: Ubuntu 18.04-Crashed installation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1767465/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
