@ Martin Dauskardt Are you using Xubuntu 16.04? Aren't you experiencing any of these crashes?
I don't understand why I am the only one seemingly affected. I did a clean install of xubuntu 16.04. No PPAs added. All xfce configuration were deleted with the clean install. Yet for me thunar crashes on almost every file copy or move. I've even had the desktop crash when doing an archive extraction to a folder (the folder renamed itself after extraction and the desktop crashed).
