Pavol, I downloaded Opera and maximised its window. I agree, there are
no minimise or maximise buttons unlike with other applications. Is this
an issue with Opera or with Ubuntu? If this is an issue with Opera then
the problem cannot be reported here. If this is an Ubuntu issue then it
needs to be filed against the offending package.

I've yet to find another application that doesn't display maximise and
minimise buttons when maximised. It's easy enough to get around, just
double mouse click Opera's top bar and the buttons become visible.

In any case not a Firefox bug as your report suggested.

Marking as incomplete awaiting your input and suggestion as to which
Ubuntu package is at fault although a quick "Google" suggests that this
is an Opera issue which needs to be reported to and fixed by the Opera
developers.
