Laur, For Kubuntu users installing openoffice.org-base should resolve the problem. The bug Simon reported appears to be unrelated. The underlying issue is that the /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libdba680li.so library needs to be on the system and that library will be moved to openoffice .org-core in the near future.
