Public bug reported:

uname -a : Linux myhostname 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 23:05:12 GMT

I've been using gnometris for a week without problem, but from yesterday
it dies about 2 or 3 seconds after starting the game. I opened gnometris
from a terminal, and the output was:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ gnometris

I removed gnome-games and installed it again (apt-get remove + apt-get
install) and it worked for that day, but today I had again the same
problem. This time it didn't work the trick.

It seems that it's something related with sound, because if I disable
the sound in the settings->preferences of gnometris, it works allright.
The problem happened with compizfusion enabled and disabled, so it
doesn't seem to be related with that.

>From time to time, a Gnometris game starts and gives a score of 10000
for each piece that you drop, whether you make a full line or not. In
that cases, you just start a new one and it's alright, but it's a bug,
anyway. I can't reproduce the output in this case, but I will try in the
future.
