Hi,
please try to disable your addons and see if the issue goes away.
Todo that close all firefox windows, open a terminal (e.g. Applications
-> Accessories -> Terminal) and type:
firefox -safe-mode
then try to reproduce your problem. If it goes away, start firefox as
usually again and try to disable your addons in Tools -> Addons one by
one (restart firefox in between) until you find the addon that caused
this issue. Note, that Themes can cause issues as well, so try to
disable them as well.
Let us know what you find.
