Public bug reported: I am developing a custom program which used to work without errors in Ubuntu 16.04, but crashes very often in the current release. The core dump says the segmentation fault occurs in "__strcmp_ssse3", which is ultimately called from OpenCV's VideoCapture constructor I use several times in my program.
I attached an archive with the debug binary and the core dump to this report (the password is the name of the function in which the bug occurs).
