I gave Ubuntu another chance. I booted the official kernel: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ uname -r 2.6.22-14-generic
I (hope) I did a COMPLETE reinstall of all CUPS-related stuff. To my satisfaction, I had no problems with apparmor and cupsd, which was correctly configured and started. Then I tried to print 1 page from Evince (I am sorry, I love PDFs...) about 20 minutes ago and SURPRISE! the printer's led is still blinking, the job is SUCCESFULLY terminated (I [30/Oct/2007:20:21:31 +0000] [Job 2] Completed successfully.) but any piece of printed paper came out of my printer. WHAT IS GOING ON? Which is (are) my mistake(s), if any? ** Attachment added: "error_logAFTERreinstall.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10217515/error_logAFTERreinstall.txt -- CUPS printing problems https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/158284 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
