Joseph, Yes, your kernel does resolve this bug. Measuring using speedtest.net, before your kernel, using the current Bionic kernel, I get 8.64mbps on a 2.4Ghz network, with a max of around 10Mbs. Four minutes later, with your kernel, 34.92Mbs with a max of around 50Mbs.
What is perhaps not so good, is that the performance of a 5Ghz network has dropped dramatically from around 90 - 100 Mbs, down to 9.12 to 9.43mbps. Tested repeatedly over a few minutes to make sure it's not just a one-off. I'll install the stock kernel again, and check it's the patch, and not some external factor. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1670041 Title: Poor performance of Atheros QCA6174 802.11ac (rev 32) (Killer Wireless 1535) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1670041/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
